- Open the downloaded file and move ShareDesk to Applications.
- Open it and allow Screen Recording and Accessibility when macOS asks.

- Open the downloaded file. It runs straight away, for a one-off session.
- To keep it, choose Install – no administrator rights needed.

Which version does my customer need?
The same app as you: Mac or Windows. The Mac download picks the right build for each Mac by itself.
What about older Macs?
One ShareDesk covers every Mac from macOS 10.15 on. Macs with macOS 10.15 to 12.2 get a build of their own, with its own updates, for technicians and customers alike: screen, control, chat, files, printing in both directions, terminal, private network and unattended access, also at the login window. The sound of the older Mac's apps can't be sent (that needs macOS 13). After an update to macOS 12.3 or later it moves on to the current app by itself. The download button picks the build for you; the link below it gets the other one.
How do updates work?
ShareDesk installs updates by itself when it isn't in use, on Mac and Windows.
Are the downloads signed?
Yes. The Mac app is signed and notarized by Apple, and every update is checked against our signature before it's installed. More on security.
